Kids Shopping Day

Do You Have a Skill to Share?

Good Samaritan Food Pantry

The Baptist Church and VMUMC work together for this event. Donated items are organized and priced at garage sale prices. Children can have a helper to assist in shopping for their family members as well as wrap the gifts. Proceeds are used to purchase grocery or other gift cards for families in the community.

Throughout the year, save gently used items to donate to this cause or make a donation through our Venmo account.

Bed Builds

Do You Have a Skill to Share?

Do You Have a Skill to Share?

We work with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace program to build beds.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides beds, at no cost, to children ages 3-17 who are sleeping in undesirable conditions such as on a floor, sofa, air mattress, or sharing a bed with parents or siblings.

There are so many ways you can help within the church and community, please reach out to us via email at: office@vmumc.com to see if there is a way you can help.

Food for a funeral, volunteer for VBS or serve on a committee. Maybe you have a skill that would be helpful like sewing, knowledge of office work or construction. Please reach out!

Check out the Youth page to see their activities that might be able to use your help!
